Antony Gormley: 3x Another Time (SCVA) 22nd Apr - 22nd Apr

3X ANOTHER TIME comprises three life-sized cast iron sculptures selected from Gormley’s ongoing series Another Time (1999–2013) which has been presented in locations across the world. The sculptures will be placed around the university at different focal points and sight lines, including roof level.

On display are Monet's Allée de sapins à Varengeville, painted in 1882, and Yosemite I of 2011, in which David Hockney made images depicting the dramatic landscape of Yosemite National Park in California using an iPad.

A new exhibition at the Sainsbury Centre presents a revealing exploration and reappraisal of the life and work of Nobel laureate Doris Lessing (1919–2013), one of the most celebrated and extraordinary writers of the twentieth century. A fascinating selection from Lessing’s extensive personal archive, held in the British Archive for Contemporary Writing at the University of East Anglia, will be on display for the first time, giving unprecedented insight into Lessing’s life.

Norwich Tunnel of Light

The Tunnel of Light has become one of the most visited attractions at Christmas in Norwich. 45 metres long, four metres high and six metres wide, the tunnel is made from 50,000 pulsating LED with beautiful sequenced lights reflecting the patterns and colours of the Northern Lights. Located on Hay Hillm outside the Forum.
