Slipway Cottage

Slipway Cottage has been newly refurbished with easy elegance by its interior designer owners. An enchanting sitting room with an eclectic mix of antiques and collectible furniture overlooks an enclosed rear garden with a pretty terrace, and another intimate sitting room leads from the sumptuous bedroom which has a sparkling en suite shower room.

Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, central heating, TV/DVD player and CD pplayer.

The cottage has an enviable secluded position set back on a private driveway leading to Blakeney Quay, with stunning views from the house over the salt marshes and estuary.

Blakeney, a charming village of flint cottages in narrow streets where little stalls sell seasonal shellfish, was once one of England’s largest ports before silting up and becoming navigable only to small vessels. It now has a range of fascinating small shops, delis and friendly pubs serving food, and is most famed for the basking seals of Blakeney Point.

Elsewhere the Heritage Coast offers unspoilt sandy beaches, nature reserves, stately homes and picturesque villages, including the shopping delights of Burnham Market. The cathedral city of Norwich is a fifty-minute drive.
