The Boat House

The Boat House offers unusually spacious Bed and Breakfast accommodation comprising an open plan living, kitchen and dining area with the bedroom set on mezzanine level. Features include a log burner, double shower with travetine tiles, fridge, TV/DVD, iPod Player and free wi-fi.

In addition the cottage has a private flowery terrace for summer breakfasts or evening drinks, a pleasant place to enjoy the continental breakfast.

The cottage is in a sought-after location with direct access to Blakeney Quayside and the unique views across the salt marshes and the estuary.

Blakeney, a charming village of flint cottages in narrow streets where stalls sell seasonal shellfish, was once one of England’s largest ports before silting up and becoming navigable only to small vessels. Among these are the pleasure boats to Blakeney Point, a National Trust nature reserve, home to the famous basking seals and a bird sanctuary.

Elsewhere the Heritage Coast offers unspoilt sandy beaches, nature reserves, stately homes and picturesque villages, including the shopping delights of Burnham Market. The cathedral city of Norwich is a fifty-minute drive.
