The Grove

Built in 1797 and with clifftop walks, a coastal golf club and Cromer Lighthouse accessed through the large private grounds, The Grove provides Bed and Breakfast accommodation with facilities including a heated indoor swimming pool.

Rooms are individually decorated, with several amenities. Home-grown produce is used in the breakfasts and for the delicious lunches and dinners in the newly-opened restaurant. Self-catering cottages are also available in an adjacent barn conversion.

Within a short walk is the centre of Cromer, a Victorian resort town with a traditional pier and colourful promenade. The small fishing boats battling the sea are entertainment in themselves and there are plenty of outlets for the famous tender-fleshed local speciality: Cromer crab.

The 17th Century National Trust country house Felbrigg Hall is a nearby attraction. The North Norfolk Heritage Coast, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty blessed with unspoilt beaches, nature reserves and picturesque villages, is easily explored via road or the Norfolk Coastal Path, a national trail. The fine city of Norwich is a forty minute drive.
