The Parson Woodforde

The pub dates from 1845 when it was called the Five Ringers. More recently it has been named after 18th century clergyman and diarist, James Woodforde who lived in the village and aptly had a great love of fine food and drink.

The pub has been recently refurbished with panache, retaining the stunning old oak beams and wood floors and adding a dash of contemporary colour. The large relaxed restaurant offers imaginative food, beautifully presented and the breakfasts have won a special ETB breakfast award.

Four splendid luxury rooms are now available, offering comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton sheets, elegant country furniture, gleaming tiled bathrooms and flat screen TVs.

Weston Longville is just eight miles north of the historic cathedral city of Norwich, Britain’s most complete medieval city and steeped in atmosphere. It is also one of the top ten cities in the UK for shopping and has a vast array of eating options. The stunning Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads are also both just a forty minute drive.
