Sutton Hall
This beautiful country house is an exquisite blend of period charm and modern comforts plus environmentally friendly features such as ground source heating for green credentials.
The bedrooms have all the elegance to be expected in this setting: tall sash windows, fireplaces, a four poster bed in one room, all decorated in pale colours. Gleaming bathrooms with double power showers and luxurious extras ensure a relaxing stay.
Communal rooms include an airy high-ceilinged sitting room with French doors leading out to the garden and for winter a log fire, as well as the splendid red east-facing dining room for sunny breakfasts.
The terrace and twenty acres of tranquil grounds beckon for a stroll in the kitchen garden, orchard or pastures for wildlife spotting. To complete the country house ambience, the owners can arrange clay pigeon shooting sessions.
The setting is also a big draw here; the village of Sutton is in the heart of the Norfolk Broads very close to Hickling Broad and Nature Reserve. The unspoilt beaches of the North-East coastline are within five miles and the stunning North Norfolk Heritage Coast is also easily accessible.
The fine cathedral city of Norwich and the traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth are both about half an hour’s drive.
