The Fritton Arms
The Fritton Arms dates from the fifteenth century but its rather grand façade belies the informal welcoming interior. The excellent restaurant boasts a seasonal menu and the terrace overlooking the lake provides al fresco dining in summer months.
The nine spacious bedrooms are individually and elegantly furnished with a fusion of antique and modern styles and offer luxurious extras. All have stunning views across the country park.
The Fritton Arms is in an exceptional lakeside situation in Fritton Country Park on the five thousand acre Somerleyton Estate. Somerleyton Hall is one of of the finest stately homes in Britain and renowned for its fine yew tree maze. The Park has a children’s play area, rowing boats on the lake and a nine hole golf course.
The sandy beaches and traditional seaside resorts of the East Norfolk Coast are just a few miles away, and a little further afield are the Norfolk Broads, with their many miles of navigable waterways, nature reserves and wetlands. The cathedral city of Norwich is a half hour drive.
