Poppyfield Cottages

Poppyfield Cottages is a handsome collection of 17th century cottages providing self-catering accommodation. The cottages offer a wealth of period features including exposed beams and log fires along with modern amenities, lawned gardens and barbeque facilities. All offer splendid views of the surrounding countryside.

Worstead village itself is a conservation weaver’s village: an architectural gem with Flemish origins, set in countryside bordering the magnificent Norfolk Broads. There is a fourteenth century church, a duck pond and a village inn serving excellent food and ales. For equestrian pursuits, there are a number of bridleways close by.

The historic market town of North Walsham is a short journey. Its ruined church tower is a landmark in a bustling town of side streets and yards with a range of shops, pubs and cafes.

The relaxed coastal villages of Happisburgh, Bacton and Sea Palling are all nearby, and seals can often be seen frolicking in the waves along the beach. The cathedral city of Norwich and its countless cultural attractions is a thirty minute drive.
