Shrublands Farm, Northrepps

Set in mature gardens on a 300-acre working arable farm, Shrublands provides Silver Award Bed and Breakfast accommodation in an 18th century farmhouse.

The two guest rooms are brightly decorated and well equipped, while visitors can also make use of: the homely sitting room, with a selection of books and a log fire for the winter nights; and the spacious dining room, where breakfast with the farm’s own eggs and local produce is served.

Self-catering accommodation is also available on the farm in Yeoman’s Cottage.

Northrepps is a short distance from the attractive coastal village of Overstrand, featuring one of Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches. Following a clifftop walk leads to the more traditional seaside delights of Cromer with its historic pier and famous delicacy: the tender-fleshed Cromer crab.

The magnificent National Trust Felbrigg Hall, a 17th century Jacobean country house, is nearby. The North Norfolk Heritage Coast, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, is within a few miles and offers unspoilt beaches, charming villages and various nature reserves. The historic city of Norwich is a forty-minute drive.
