In traditional cottages built from locally quarried carrstone, Cheney Hollow Cottages provide Gold Award self-catering accommodation.

Guest Cottage has a dining alcove overlooking the attractive garden, while Garden Cottage is one-level accommodation with French doors leading on to a patio with barbeque. Facilities include fully fitted kitchens, LCD TVs with DVD, iPod docks and DAB radios.

The tranquil village of Heacham was once home to Pocahontas, now commemorated in a local memorial. Heacham boasts two sandy beaches which are illuminated by glorious long-lasting, west-facing sunsets. The fields of the famous Norfolk Lavender Company are the village’s most famous attraction.

Neighbouring Hunstanton offers traditional resort entertainment, Blue Flag sands backed with stunning red cliffs and exciting water sports.

During winter thousands of pink-footed geese can be seen flying over Heacham and the RSPB birdwatching reserve of Snettisham is just along the coast. Sandringham, the much-loved residence of HM The Queen, is only seven miles away, while the museums and market places of the historic port town of King’s Lynn are a twenty-five-minute drive.
