Church Cottage Bed and Breakfast

Built in a traditional flint and red brick style and located next to the 14th century church, Church Cottage provides cosy Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a private part of the house, with the Norfolk Coast Path, a National Trail through nature reserves, unspoilt beaches and charming villages just a short walk away.

Two spacious rooms – a double and a twin – come comfortably furnished and stocked with the usual amenities, including Wi-Fi and TVs with freesat channels. Breakfast is served in a dining room overlooking the garden and bird feeders.

The village of Stiffkey nestles in a valley next to the River Stiffkey. The famous salt marshes, flush with purple sea lavender in summer and inhabited by curlews and redshanks, are hailed as the last true wilderness in lowland Britain by Natural England. ‘Stewkey Blues,’ cockles stained blue by mud, are a local speciality.

Nearby attractions on the Heritage Coast include the basking seals of Blakeney Point, the independent stores of Wells-next-the-Sea, and the magnificent Holkham Hall, with its nearby beach voted the UK’s best by Coast Magazine.

The historic city of Norwich with its cultural amenities is a fifty-minute drive.
