The Bromley

This small boutique guest house with a restaurant and bar combines the elegance of a period exterior and interior with ultra-modern facilities: richly decorated rooms have king-size or four poster beds, roll top baths, fine bed linen, flat screen TVs and many extra treats.

The Bromley is just a minute or two from the beach and pier of Great Yarmouth, one of the UK’s most popular seaside resorts, with over fifteen miles of sandy beaches, and an array of traditional seaside amusement and entertainment, from seafront bowling to the thrills of the fairground.

Behind the seafront glitter lies a charming ancient port boasting one of the most complete medieval town walls in Britain and the historic South Quay. Charles Dickens used many of the town’s characters and landmarks as an inspiration for his classic novel ‘David Copperfield.’

The surrounding area is full of contrasts including twenty-one villages set in beautiful coastal and rural surroundings and a few miles away the famous Norfolk Broads. Here there are miles of unspoilt reed-fringed waterways to explore, in boats that can be hired for the hour or the day.

The historic cathedral city of Norwich, with its fine shopping and cultural amenities contained within the ancient walls of Britain’s most complete medieval city is just a half hour drive.
