Home Hall Organic Bed & Breakfast
Home Hall offers five star Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a beautifully restored home with an interesting history.
Three bedrooms named after the Victorian, Edwardian and Georgian eras are decorated lavishly with beautiful furniture and detailing to match the period, with private or en suite bathrooms. Each room is provided with luxurious treats such as organic toiletries and robes.
The copious breakfast, served around a large communal table in the oak-panelled dining room or on the terrace in summer, features the organic free-range produce which is a speciality of Home Hall. Cream teas are also served on arrival.
Great Hockham is on the eastern edge of Breckland, and has a picture postcard village green at its centre, with a particularly fine village sign.
It is situated on the edge of Thetford Forest, the largest lowland pine forest in Great Britain. There are miles of waymarked paths for walkers and cyclists, including the Pingo Trail and Peddars Way. Snetterton Race Track is close by, and the fine cathedral city of Norwich is a forty minute drive and well worth a visit.
Further attractions include the historic treasures of Cambridge and Bury St. Edmunds, and the award-winning sandy beaches and quaint coastal resorts of the Norfolk or Suffolk coastline – all within an hour’s drive.
