Barn Court
Barn Court was restored from seventeenth century farm buildings and is built around a courtyard. The spacious ground floor bedrooms – one with a four poster bed – offer contemporary comfort in a traditional setting.
The quiet village of Rackheath is particularly well situated for a holiday in the Norfolk Broads. Wroxham, the gateway to the Broads National Park is a few minutes drive, with fine opportunities for walking, cycling and sailing. Boats of all kinds can be hired here and there are many restaurants and shops including Roy’s which claims to be the world’s largest village store.
Beautiful Salhouse Broad is only four miles away. A grassy bank rises from the Broad with areas of sand and fallen trees – a natural play area for children.
Beyond the Broads lies the award winning Norfolk Coast with miles of wide sandy beaches, unspoilt areas of outstanding natural beauty and some of the best nature reserves in the country.
Within easy reach also, the historic city of Norwich is a unique mixture of the old and new, with its mighty castle, magnificent cathedral and ultra-modern shopping and entertainment.
