Mount Amelia

Ingoldisthorpe Hall was built in 1745 and is one of the few Grade II listed country houses in England. It was originally known by its present name of Mount Amelia and now offers stunning Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a grand setting.

At certain times of the year, the whole hall is available for parties, weddings and holidays, and there are three luxurious holiday cottages.

The sumptuous bedrooms, all with wonderful views, have antique furniture and some have four poster beds. The splendid drawing room is available for guests, and evening meals can be arranged. Pampering massages from an experienced therapist can be arranged.

Ingoldisthorpe is situated on the edge of the Queen’s Royal Sandringham Estate and just seven miles from both historic King’s Lynn, boasting ancient merchant’s houses and museums, and the seaside resort of Hunstanton, with its rugged cliffs and beautiful beaches. Beyond, the North Norfolk Heritage Coast is easily accessible.

For bird watchers there are the RSPB reserves of Snettisham and Titchwell both within easy reach, and many other attractions are close by.
