Carrick's at Castle Farm

Carrickā€™s of Castle Farm, featured in Alastair Sawday’s ‘Special Places to Stay’, offers a rural Bed and Breakfast experience on a unique farm, with rare breed cattle, home grown vegetables and chicken and geese roaming freely in the grounds.

The accommodation has been refurbished to provide a mix of tradition and stylish luxury; fine canopied and half tester beds, a roll top bath, state-of-the-art technology and sumptuous linens.

The hospitality is outstanding too, with wine or coffee and cakes offered on arrival, and the option of private dinners, picnic hampers, cookery courses and luxury massages. The hearty breakfasts have won the ETB Special Breakfast Award.

Conservation is important on the farm, and there is a network of footpaths, including a two mile river walk where it is possible to see a heron or even a roe deer.

This peaceful rural spot is just a short distance from the cathedral city of Norwich. The picturesque North Norfolk Coast, with sandy beaches and abundant wildlife alongside charming coastal towns and brick and flint villages, is also within easy reach and well worth a visit.
