Jex Farmhouse

In a listed converted dairy attached to the Grade II-listed farmhouse, Jex Farmhouse provides Silver Award Bed and Breakfast accommodation with outstanding views of the church and the surrounding fields and meadows.

All rooms are beautifully decorated and have king-size beds, with features including Laura Ashley sofas, garden furniture, digital freeview TV and Wi-Fi. Traditional Aga-cooked breakfasts use locally sourced meat and seasonal produce from the farm, and afternoon tea and homemade cakes are served on arrival.

Luxury self-catering accommodation is also available in the converted barn and stable. The enclosed patio area is a summer suntrap.

Little Snoring is an attractive village noted for the parish church’s unusual blend of architectural styles covering six centuries. The neighbouring village of Thursford is famed for its collection of steam engines and organs, not to mention the country’s largest Christmas spectacular.

The nearby historic market town of Fakenham boasts one of the country’s finest National Hunt racecourses, while the Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, a riot of colour with over 100 species of birds, is home to the BBC’s Springwatch programme. The dramatic coastal scenery of North Norfolk’s Heritage Coast is within ten miles, and the cathedral city of Norwich is a fifty-minute drive.
