St Anne's Guest House

Just set back from the beach, St Anne’s Guest House provides Silver Award Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a Victorian house constructed from the area’s traditional red carrstone, quarried from nearby Hunstanton’s distinctive cliffs.

There is a range of well-appointed rooms, either en suite or with a private bathroom, and a comfortable guest room for lounging, all offering the usual amenities. Breakfast is served in the bright dining room and uses local produce and homemade bread, jam and marmalade.

The tranquil village of Heacham was once home to Pocahontas, who is commemorated in a local memorial. The town boasts two sandy beaches which are illuminated by glorious long-lasting west facing sunsets.

The fields of the famous Norfolk Lavender Company are Heacham’s most famous attraction. Nearby Hunstanton offers traditional resort entertainment, Blue Flag beaches and exciting water sports.

During winter thousands of pink-footed geese can be seen flying over Heacham, and the RSPB birdwatching reserve of Snettisham is just along the coast.

Sandringham, the much-loved residence of HM The Queen, is a short journey. The museums and market places of historic port town of King’s Lynn are a twenty-minute drive.
