Manor Farm

Manor Farm dates in part from medieval times and the interior exudes rustic charm. The award-winning breakfasts – including free range eggs from the farm’s hens – are served in an oak beamed dining room with a log fire in winter. The individually named bedrooms are all comfortable and well equipped.

Extra features include tea and homemade cakes served on arrival, and stables and paddocks for visiting horses. The Bed and Breakfast has an award from the Green Tourism business scheme.

Great Hockham is on the eastern edge of Breckland, and has a picture postcard village green at its centre, with a particularly fine village sign. Thetford Forest, with its numerous walks and trails (including the Pingo Trail and Peddars Way) form part of the village’s western parish boundary. Snetterton Race Track is also close by.

The fine cathedral city of Norwich is under an hour’s drive away and well worth a visit for its highly-rated shopping and vibrant cultural scene, all contained within the medieval city walls.
