Rosemeade
In attractive and peaceful grounds, Rosemeade provides comfortable Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Two rooms, a double en suite and a twin, are stylishly decorated and provide the usual amenities.
Self-catering accommodation can also be provided in a garden chalet that has been refurbished in a New England Beach House style. The owners are keen walkers and cyclists and are happy to arrange guided walks or offer advise.
Situated in the Glaven Valley and once a thriving shipbuilding area before silting, Wiveton is a village of picturesque cottages and Wiveton Hall, a fine 17th century Jacobean manor house. The downs offer splendid coastal views.
Within a mile is the Georgian and Flemish architecture and iconic windmill of Cley-next-the-Sea, where a rare bird sanctuary is administered by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. The famous basking seals of Blakeney Point are similarly close by. The Norfolk Coast Path is ideal for exploring the Heritage Coast on foot, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
The Georgian market town of Holt is a short journey, while the historic city of Norwich is a fifty-minute drive.
