Dunston Hall Hotel

Dunston Hall was built as a rural retreat in 1859, and skilfully converted and extended; now the characteristic gables and soaring chimneys are an imposing sight, and the interior retains its country house charm.

The bedrooms include double rooms with four poster beds, “chambre unique” rooms for extra luxury, magnificent suites and original attic rooms with beamed ceilings. A range of restaurants provide formal dining, a carvery or casual bistro meals. The delicious breakfasts served here have won a special ETB Breakfast Award.

On the estate there is a superb USGA rated golf course and a leisure club with an elegant pillared indoor swimming pool, a gym, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.

The hotel is a few miles away from the historic city of Norwich, where the soaring spire of Norwich Cathedral and the imposing Norman Castle stand guard over Britain’s most complete medieval city, with a wealth of architectural gems, both traditional and modern. The city is famed for its diverse shopping options and a cultural scene of first-class museums, galleries and theatres.

Ancient market towns such as Wymondham and Diss are within easy reach, and the hotel is also well situated for visiting the picturesque Norfolk Broads network of navigable waterways and the award-winning Norfolk and Suffolk Coasts.
