The Dormy House Hotel

Just a pebble’s throw from the beach, The Dormy House provides comfortable hotel accommodation. All rooms are stylishly decorated and offer several amenities, including digital TVs, trouser presses and hairdryers among others.

The restaurant has a carvery as well as other popular dining options and provides an outstanding vista of the coastline; the hearty English breakfasts are served here.

West Runton became internationally renowned with the discovery of an entire mammoth fossil in the eroding cliffs in the 1990s. Roman Camp, acquired by the National Trust, is an area of pathways and bridleways and features magnificent views from Norfolk’s highest point. The village also boasts the popular Shire Horse Centre.

The charming villages, unspoilt coastline and nature reserves of the North Norfolk Heritage Coast are easily explored by road or the Norfolk Coast Path. The Blue Flag seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer are within two miles, and the elegant National Trust Felbrigg Hall is also nearby. The cathedral city of Norwich is a forty-minute drive.
