Braydeston House
Braydeston House is a splendid white house with a pillared porch and elegant sash windows. The spacious bedrooms are decorated in traditional style with views of the garden or the River Yare. The garden itself is delightful, with a rose arched pathway. Self-catering accommodation is also available.
The village of Brundall has a very fine restaurant, The Lavender House, and plenty of other good pubs nearby for an evening meal.
Picturesque Ranworth Broad is the nearest Broad, with a board walk to a floating wildlife visitor centre and boat trips. Within a short drive too are the bustling Broads villages of Wroxham and Horning for boat hire, restaurants and shops.
Six miles away the splendid city of Norwich, dominated by the magnificent cathedral and Norman castle, is said to be the most complete medieval city in Britain and offers great shopping and dining as well as historic treasures.
The traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth and the stunning North Norfolk Heritage Coast can both be reached in well under an hour.
