The Lodge
Formerly a dower house built in the 18th Century from locally quarried clunch and carrstone, The Lodge provides splendid Inn accommodation in a secluded location. Rooms are equipped to a high standard and the superior rooms have splendid sea views. Five star self-catering is also available in Lodge Cottage.
The pub offers a range of local ales, while the restaurant has an emphasis on locally sourced meat and fresh fish.
Old Hunstanton is a village of charming cottages and a links golf course. The clifftop walks to neighbouring resort town Hunstanton encompass attractive Victorian squares overlooking the Blue Flag beaches and the famous long-lasting sunsets.
The North Norfolk Heritage Coast, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty featuring picturesque villages, unspoilt beaches and colourful quaysides, is easily accessible via the Norfolk Coast Path, which runs near the door.
Nature reserves in Holme and Snettisham are nearby attractions. Sandringham, the Norfolk residence of HM The Queen, is within ten miles. The medieval port town King’s Lynn is a thirty-minute drive.
