Park House Hotel (Leonard Cheshire)

Officially opened by the Queen in 1987 and operated by the charity Leonard Cheshire Disability, the award winning Park House Hotel offers specially converted Country House Hotel accommodation in grand surroundings. Superb facilities include a well-stocked library, a conservatory and a heated outdoor swimming pool. Snooker, bowls, painting and crafts activities are also available.

The restaurant offers an international menu and wine list, and dinner is served overlooking the wooded skyline of the Sandringham Estate. Specialist diets are catered for and mealtime assistance can be provided.

Guests may opt for as much or as little care as they require; an in-house team provides support 24 hours a day. Nurses are on hand to draw up an individualised care plan for all guests. The en suite rooms span the range from classic style to contemporary design, and all are fully equipped with a bedside console to control lighting and radio, and for communication with staff.

The Queen’s much-loved residence at Sandringham is open to the public. The medieval port town of King’s Lynn, with its array of museums and merchant’s houses is a short drive as is the traditional Blue Flag resort of Hunstanton.
