Sherbourne House

This beautiful period Country House with its fine Georgian fa├žade was built in 1740, and inside the elegant style reflects the period with contemporary features adding to the comfort of the accommodation. The spacious and airy bedrooms are decorated in pale colours with elegant antique furniture and gorgeous drapes.

The Restaurant at Sherbourne House provides an excellent selection of freshly prepared dishes using fine local suppliers for the ingredients and includes several examples of fine German cuisine.

Sherbourne House is in the ancient market town of Attleborough, dating back to Saxon times, with historic buildings and a fine central square. Nearby Thetford Forest is the largest lowland pine forest in Britain where waymarked trails meander through trees and bracken in a habitat frequented by deer and pheasants, plus a network of cycle routes, and designated spots of natural beauty for picnics.

There are many other attractions close by: Banham Zoo and Snetterton Race Circuit are can be reached in less than twenty minutes and the Bressingham Gardens and Steam Museum are just a little further.

The magnificent cathedral city of Norwich, half an hour’s drive away, is said to be Britain’s most complete medieval city and is also one of the top ten UK shopping destinations. The celebrated Norfolk Broads and the sandy beaches of the North and East Coasts can be reached in under an hour.
