The Paddocks Cottages

Situated on Forestry Commission land with several walking routes, The Paddocks provides family-friendly, self-catering accommodation in an historic barn converted into three cottages or in Kiln Barn, a separate self-contained cottage, all comfortably furnished and with modern amenities.

The property is surrounded by acres of grass land with a large children’s play area.

Each cottage features freeview TV, a DVD player and wi-fi, while washing and drying facilities are available.

Within a mile, the village of Thursford is famed for its collection of steam engines and organs as well as the country’s largest Christmas show, a spectacular pageant of colour and music.

Nearby attractions include Fakenham’s racecourse and the Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, home of BBC’s Springwatch. The attractive Georgian market town of Holt, with its boutique stores and tea rooms, is a short journey.

North Norfolk’s Heritage Coast, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, is easily accessible with the famous basking seals of Blakeney Point only a few miles away. The cathedral city of Norwich is a forty-five minute drive.
