Oxfootstone Granary

Peacefully situated in its own two-acre gardens, Oxfootstone Granary is in a quiet rural setting with sweeping views of the South Norfolk countryside and open skies.

There are two newly restored self-catering units at the Granary. Kingfisher comprises a two bedroom converted cartshed with clay lump walls and oriel windows overlooking a pond with waterfowl.

Piglet Barn is an attractive wooden barn with blue painted windows, set in the grounds with views over the fields. It sleeps four and has contemporary lighting and décor, underfloor heating and a woodburner.

The village of South Lopham is just five miles from the historic market town of Diss, with a charming setting of half-timbered buildings and Georgian and Victorian architecture. The town has a colourful weekly market on Fridays in the market place and many speciality shops and restaurants.

Many Norfolk attractions are close by: the famed gardens and Steam Museum of Adrian Bloom at Bressingham, Banham Zoo and Snetterton Race Circuit are all on the doorstep. It is also within easy reach of both Bury St Edmunds and the magnificent city of Norwich for a wealth of architectural gems, both traditional and modern.

The splendid beauty of the Suffolk Coast and its quaint seaside towns can be reached in an hour, making this an ideal base for a country holiday.
