Oyster House
The Silver Award Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Oyster House is in a restored dairy adjacent to the traditional flint farmhouse. Ground floor rooms, grouped around a grassy courtyard, are charmingly furnished and well equipped. The Aga-cooked breakfasts have won a special Breakfast Award, and are served in the parlour of the main house.
Oyster House is in the rural village of West Rudham, within walking distance of the Crown Inn, named Norfolk Fine Dining Pub of the Year 2010.
The beauty of the North Norfolk Heritage Coast, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, can be easily explored from here: stunning sandy beaches are only twelve miles away, as well as nature reserves and quaint coastal villages with independent shops and galleries.
The historic houses of Houghton and Royal Sandringham are also close by, and the cathedral city of Norwich is about an hour’s drive.
