Whitehall Farm
Adjacent to the parklands of the Holkham Estate with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, Whitehall Farm provides Silver Award Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast accommodation.
Rooms are luxurious and handsomely decorated with all modern amenities including TVs, DVD players, CD players and refrigerators. Within the farm’s grounds there is a walled garden and two-acre paddock, offering equine facilities for those who wish to take advantage of the miles of quiet lanes and bridleways in the surrounding countryside.
A comprehensive breakfast menu, recipient of the ETB Breakfast Award, is served with produce from a range of noted local suppliers. The farm also offers camping site and glamping site within the grounds.
Burnham Thorpe was Lord Nelson’s birthplace, and in the present day is a quiet rural hamlet made up of a cluster of picturesque brick and flint cottages. The nearby Holkham Estate has a deer park and scenic lake, the magnificent Palladian Holkham Hall and a superb beach voted Britain’s finest by Coast Magazine.
Neighbouring village Burnham Market bustles with an array of unusual shops and boutiques surrounding its splendid village green. The North Norfolk Heritage Coast, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, is blessed with dramatically changing scenery and several nature reserves, and is easily accessible.
