This new Bed and Breakfast offers high-quality accommodation with many generous extra features for a delightful stay.

The comfortable modern rooms are on the ground floor with views of the large secluded garden and across countryside towards the church at Wighton. One has a king-size bed and en suite wet room, and the double room has a luxury private bathroom adjacent. Amenities include flat-screen TVs with freeview, free Wi-Fi and complimentary toiletries.

Visitors are welcomed with tea and cakes and the owners will bring freshly brewed coffee to the room. Afternoon tea can also be ordered during the stay.

A natural outdoor pool can be enjoyed in the warmer months with towels provided. The copious breakfast includes specials, local and home-grown produce, home-made bread and preserves, and can be taken by a cosy wood-burning stove when the weather is cold.

An important Christian pilgrimage site since 1061, Walsingham was restored in the 20th century with both Anglican and Catholic replica shrines. The atmospheric village of historical timber-framed buildings also features a museum and the abbey grounds attract snowdrop lovers from all over the world each year.

The Wells & Walsingham Light Railway, the longest 10“ narrow gauge steam railway in the world, travels through the countryside from Walsingham to the quayside town of Wells-next-the Sea, from which North Norfolk’s Heritage Coast, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty with unspoilt beaches, nature reserves and picturesque villages can easily be explored. The outstanding beach at Holkham is just a ten-minute drive.

Bustling market town Fakenham and Thursford, famed for the country’s largest Christmas spectacular, are both within five miles. The cathedral city of Norwich is a fifty-minute drive.
