Owl and Orchard Barns at Sisland Tithe Barn

Sisland Tithe Barn has won an award as Bed and Breakfast Accommodation of the Year 2012. Now two luxuriously converted barns, Owl and Orchard, are available for self-catering holidays in the same grounds. Pretty Owl Barn sleeps two and can also accommodate a baby or toddler under two. A well placed skylight in the stylish bathroom and wet room gives a romantic view of the stars.

Striking Orchard Barn sleeps four and was converted with the help of a grant from the Rural Development Programme for England, funded by DEFRA and the EU. The contemporary beamed interior is enhanced by the eco-friendly Bioethanol fire – its real flame makes an impressive focal point amongst the oak-framed interior of the room. Both barns have a private patio with views over the garden or orchard.

The owners also provide a romantic glamping experience in their charming Norfolk craftsman-made Showman’s Wagon. It comes with modern facilities and every comfort. Breakfast is delivered each morning in a basket.

Given notice, the owners can also provide afternoon tea and dinner and offer a delicious menu of fresh seasonal dishes.

Tithe Barn is set in an acre of gardens surrounded by rural fields and close to the the celebrated Wherryman’s Way and Boudicca’s Way footpaths. The picturesque village of Loddon is a few minutes’ drive with a pretty marina where boats can be hired for trips on the Norfolk Broads. The historic city of Norwich and its numerous cultural amenities is only fifteen minutes away, while the award–winning beaches of North Suffolk with their unique coastal towns and villages are also within easy reach.
