Loades Cottage
Loades Cottage is a beautifully restored brick and flint fisherman’s cottage located just a stone’s throw from Blakeney’s famous quayside.
This self-catering holiday cottage features an open-plan sitting and dining room with a wood-burning stove, a well-equipped kitchen, master bedroom and second bedroom, as well as a pretty courtyard area for enjoying the fine weather. Entertainment facilities include a TV, DVD player and iPod docking station.
Blakeney, a charming village of cobbled cottages in narrow streets, was once one of England’s largest ports, before silting up and becoming navigable only to small vessels. Among these are the pleasure boats to Blakeney Point, a National Trust nature reserve and home to the charismatic basking seals and a bird sanctuary.
The Heritage Coast is one of the UK’s most spectacular stretches of coastline, with its huge skies, sand dunes, salt marshes, unspoilt beaches and timeless villages, and can easily be explored by road or along the Norfolk Coast Path.
The Georgian market town of Holt, just a short journey away, boasts an array of boutiques, galleries and bistros, while the cathedral city of Norwich is a fifty minute drive.
