Timbers Country Lodge

Timbers Country Lodge is well known locally for its welcoming family restaurants, bars and function facilities. The three restaurant areas, aptly named the Barn, the Hayloft and the Old Forge, offer an extensive menu of locally sourced food all day and the attractive bar area has comfortable sofas and a log fire in winter.

The hospitality extends to a range of rooms including family suites and a special suite with a Jacuzzi bath for a romantic weekend. All the rooms are well equipped and many have seating areas. A home-cooked breakfast is available for an extra charge

The West Norfolk village of Fincham is set in the gently rolling countryside halfway between the pleasant market towns of Downham Market and Swaffham. The village has three halls, a village duck pond and a fine church. Just ten miles to the north, the medieval port town of King’s Lynn has two historic market places, a number of merchant’s houses and a range of museums. Within easy reach is the Royal Sandringham Estate and even closer, Oxborough Hall, a romantic, moated manor house built in the fifteenth century.

On the nearby coast is the relaxed seaside village of Heacham, home of the Norfolk Lavender Company, and the resort town of Hunstanton, famed for hours of sunshine and long-lasting sunsets, sandy beaches and sandstone cliffs. RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell are also easily accessible.
