Pudding Cottage

In a brick and flint style home, Pudding Cottage provides family-friendly self-catering accommodation. The enclosed garden is embellished with magnolia and lavender in season and offers a relaxing play area as well as barbeque facilities.

The cottage is cosily furnished and features a traditional wood-burning stove. Entertainment is provided with a DVD player, iPod docking station, books and games, and a welcome hamper of treats includes homemade offerings from the owners, who run the highly rated Moorings Restaurant in Blakeney.

Thursford is an attractive village at one of Norfolk’s highest points and the famed Thursford Collection is a museum of classic steam engines, organs and merry-go rounds, which in winter is ablaze with the pageantry of the Christmas Spectacular – the country’s most popular Christmas show.

The medieval Catholic pilgrimage shrine of Walsingham is another local attraction. North Norfolk’s Heritage Coast, an area of outstanding natural beauty with unspoilt beaches and natures reserves, is easily accessible, with the colourful quayside of Well-next-the-Sea and the basking seals of Blakeney being nearby points.
