The Brick Kilns

The Brick Kilns is a pub of character in an enviable countryide location. Three rooms have been recently been made available for Bed and Breakfast accommodation with 32 inch flat screen TVs and luxury beds and bed linen. The two double rooms have en suite fully-tiled bathrooms and the twin room has its own private bathroom.

Breakfast is taken in an attractive conservatory overlooking paddocks for the owners’ Jacob sheep, goats, horses and donkeys. The restaurant here has a wide menu and seasonal blackboard specials and has also won a 2011 PETA award for being one of the Top 10 Vegetarian Friendly Pubs in the UK.

Little Plumstead is a long established village in the heart of the Norfolk Broads and also only four miles north-east of Norwich.

Beautiful Salhouse Broad is under two miles away and picturesque Ranworth Broad is also very close with a board walk to a floating wildlife visitor centre and boat trips. Within a short drive too are the bustling Broads villages of Wroxham and Horning for boat hire, restaurants and shops.

Beyond the Broads lies the award winning Norfolk Coast with miles of wide sandy beaches, unspoilt areas of outstanding natural beauty and some of the best nature reserves in the country. Within easy reach also, the historic city of Norwich is a unique mixture of the old and new, with its mighty castle, magnificent cathedral and ultra-modern shopping and entertainment.
