Pirate House B&B
In an Edwardian home, Pirate House provides Gold Award exclusive use Bed and Breakfast accommodation. The guest lounge features an open fire and under-floor heating, as well as entertainment with a TV/DVD/CD system. A romantic touch is added by the juliet balcony in the airy bedroom with south-facing windows, and the garden has a seating area.
The hearty breakfasts, served al fresco weather permitting, boast the ETB Breakfast Award, with pancakes and smoked salmon alongside traditional options. The property is just a short walk from the town centre and the beach, and the owners are also happy to provide station pick ups.
Sheringham, once a small fishing village, is a charming resort with renowned Blue Flag-winning sands. A fabulous links golf course and the nostalgic ‘Poppy Line’ Steam Railway, running to the stylish market town of Holt, are a stroll away. The National Trust Sheringham Park boasts wonderful walks and views in its landscaped parks and gardens.
The Norfolk Coast Path connects Sheringham with the nature reserves, picturesque villages and unspoilt beaches of the North Norfolk Heritage Coast. National Trust Felbrigg Hall, a magnificent 17th Century Jacobean country house, is a nearby attraction. The fine cathedral city of Norwich is a forty-minute drive.
