The Beeches

The accommodation at The Beeches has character and rustic charm. The roomy bedrooms overlook the country garden and an attractive sitting room is also available. Breakfast is served on a farmhouse table in the dining room, which has an inglenook fireplace and wood-burning stove.

The house is in a rural setting on the edge of the village of Buxton in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Picturesque Coltishall, often called the Gateway to the Broads, is just a few miles away and from here it is only three miles to Wroxham, the perfect place for boat hire, whether just for an hour or the whole day.

Ten miles to the south, Norwich city centre has cobbled streets and lanes and a wealth of historic buildings. The Norman cathedral is one of the finest in England, and the majestic castle with its fine twelfth century keep is prominently situated overlooking the city. All this contrasts with the modern, including the state-of-the-art Forum, the Riverside development, a celebrated open air market and two smart shopping malls.

The North Norfolk Coast, with its fine sandy beaches, fishing villages, bird sanctuaries and coastal footpaths, is under an hour’s drive and the popular seaside resort of Great Yarmouth is twenty miles to the East.
